No Glasses, No Lenses

I have friend. His name is Kristopher. He has very bad eyesight. He sees only the subjects which are very close to him. But he doesn't wear glasses. He is sure that it makes him ugly and besides at common school, his class - mates called him "four - eyed" and this offence leaves a scar and since he entered the University he doesn't wear glasses. But at the same time, he doesn't wear contact lenses too. When I asked him why doesn't he wear lenses he answered that he is afraid that they make his eyesight worse and besides, he heard that they bring a discomfort to eyes. And he walks along University's corridors doesn't recognize any of his friends, if only he wasn't hailed by one of his friends. Once he had a funny case. We agreed that I give him for a drive to University. He should wait for me at a buss stop. But when I drove to the buss stop Kristopher wasn't there. It was strange. Unfortunately that day I forgot my cellphone at home and I couldn't call him. So, I waited couple minutes and drove to University without him. But as it found out Kris was already there. I asked him why he didn't wait for me and he told me that he saw a red car and thought it was I. Make long story short, he sat to a wrong car. But thanks God the driver was a nice woman with a great sense of humor and she gave him for a drive to the University. After this case he finally agreed to buy contact lenses.
